Dear Young Democrat,

At our Fall National Conference you met President Clinton and experienced the excitement of the New Hampshire Presidential Primary … at our 2008 Winter National Conference you get Mickey Mouse and Disneyland.

YDA is happy to officially announce that our Winter Conference will be held in partnership with the California Young Democrats in Orange County at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim.

Of course, much more than Disney fun will be had at the conference as our usual slate of speakers, trainings, networking opportunities, and direct activism will also take place - but a Saturday evening in the theme park helps make this one of our most unique National Conferences yet.

Schedule and Conference Registration
Registration information and a more detailed schedule will be sent out in mid-January, but trainings and committee meetings will start at 3:00pm on Friday and General Session will conclude by 1:00pm on Sunday.

Hotel Information
Our conference will be held at the Disneyland Hotel, which is directly next to Downtown Disney, and the California Adventures and Disneyland theme parks.

Young Democrats of America/YDA room block:
Rate of $215/night.  We know this is more expensive than our usual hotel rates.  There are other, cheaper hotels options within minutes of the Disneyland Hotel.  Since the Disneyland Hotel is right at the entrance to the Disneyland Theme Park, many area hotels also offer free shuttles to the park.  For a list of some other hotels located near the park, visit this page online.
