I actually think that in 2004, the greatest thing of value was the simple fact that SO many new people came into the process and started so many new, unique organizations, that we had a glut of new best (and worst) practices from which to learn.&lt;/p&gt;

	&lt;p&gt;That ethos was similarly present among funders.  Alas, that doesn&#8217;t seem to be as much the case this time around.&lt;/p&gt;
