As great as it is to read the Young Democrats of America blog, The Pace, by browsing to http://yda.org/blog/, it’s important to recognize that many of us Young Democrats are infrequent visitors to the YDA blog.  Thus great, potentially interesting chapter highlights, best practices, youth voting statistics, announcements, and more are often missed.

However, recognizing this shortcoming, a group of folks involved in the YDA Communications Committee including Kevin Bondelli and Stephanie Hausner have been working to connect the content of the YDA Blog with existing communities on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Windows Live.

Now, when you check-out the YDA Facebook Page, the LinkedIn Group, etc. you’ll see the content from the YDA blog cross-posted.

If you’re using one or more of these services but not currently connected to YDA, please consider connecting:

All of the above links do a redirect to the actual page (ex: http://bit.ly/ydatw –> http://twitter.com/youngdems, but I’ve used http://bit.ly to shorten them so that they’re both easy to remember and easy to include in a Status update that might be limited to 140 or 160 characters.

Thank very much for visiting the YDA Blog and please leave a comment if you have additional advice or suggestions.  Thanks much–
Rob
