The Founders of this great nation gave life to the United States of America back in 1776, paving the way for generations of Americans to achieve life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Each year on July 4th, we take time to honor and show appreciation for the men and women who have served our country, in times of war and in times of peace, selflessly defending the liberty that makes the U.S.A. stand out as a model to the world.
Our country’s claim to liberty, equality and justice are a part of our heritage and our security for the future. As we celebrate this holiday, let us be mindful of the visionaries who have come before us and the activists working alongside us today. May the dream of a perfect union be achieved by all nations and that symbols of hope and peace be modeled by the leaders of our nation.

Hi, I’m the Vice Chair of Democrats Abroad Ireland and I was wondering if there might be current or former members of YDA that live or go to university in Ireland. If so we would like to have them become involved in our organization.
FYI. The Democratic Party Committees Abroad, of which Ireland is one of several national committees world-wide, are members of the DNC which regard us collectively as the 51st State.
Good Luck and Best Wishes, Margie Bernard
