With the passage of health care reform legislation on Sunday night, we have begun the 2010 campaign season in earnest. Tea party leaders and other conservative activists are ruthlessly attacking Democratic members of Congress who voted in favor of the bill.

Worse yet, a number of Democratic lawmakers and their families have received death threats over the past several days. I’m afraid this election cycle will be unlike anything this country has ever seen.

The Arlington Young Democrats are not backing down despite the recent events challenging true reform. They are demanding that health insurance reform move forward and not wait another year!
