YDA Services Currently Available for Chapters:
Below are the services available to YDA chapters. If you need to sign up for a new chapter or login to the YDA Member or DEMopolis site, please go to the “Create a Chapter” or the “DEMopolis” page.
Free Website and Email Hosting
Stop paying for space or relying on the state Party webmaster for your website. YDA will give every state and local chapter a free website, unlimited email addresses and domain name service. Email hostmaster@yda.org to get your chapter setup today.
Free Legal Advice
Need campaign finance advice, have questions about your relationship with candidates or your state Party? YDA’s counsel is available to all state and local chapters, just email office@yda.org to setup an appointment.
Free Credit Card Processing
Tired of paying 3 to 5% in credit card fees to paypal or click-and-pledge? YDA provides credit card processing free to any chartered state chapter or official local chapter. YDA will pay the costs of the service charges so that every dime you raise you get. Contact our Finance Director Andrea Pagano at financedirector@yda.org for setup your credit card page.
Free Email and Membership Management tool with DEMopolis
Want to expand beyond using free email tools with annoying banners for your email newsletters? Want a full membership management tool that includes email tracking, calls to action, event registration and fundraising? Then sign your chapter up for DEMopolis today at action.yda.org/chapters.
Automated Calls for Event Reminders or Message Delivery
YDA’s robo-call system can be used by your state or local chapter for reminders on special events or big announcements. The cost is as low as 10 cents per completed call. Robo-call reminders before meetings and conference calls will help increase your attendance.
Roberts Rules of Order
To help your chapter follow the rules and run more orderly, YDA is making available an electronic copy of the latest edition of Robert’s Rules of Order that you can install on your computer. It’s available on the YDA Member Site and login information to this password protected site can be obtained by emailing office@yda.org.
Trainings and Research
Additional resources like local and regional trainings tailored to chapter’s requests, manuals on various issue areas, PowerPoint’s on YDA, our programs and other various training topics to help your chapter grow membership and to help build a bloc of young voter for Democrats are available on the YDA Member Site and login information to this password protected site can be obtained by emailing office@yda.org.
