Our National Committee Meetings and Conventions offer young Democrats the chance to hear from speakers, engage in dynamic training and programming provided by our constituency caucuses, and network with other passionate young leaders. These events also ensure that important organizational business is addressed.
Bid applications for the Spring 2027 Meeting are OPEN.
Below you will find important information and the application.
The review committee is looking at the following parameters:
- Ensuring compliance with any Charter provisions regarding where meetings shall occur;
- The last time the chartered unit bidding hosted either a National Committee Meeting or National Convention;
- The costs of travel to the meeting site;
- The costs of lodging at the proposed hotel;
- Diversity of the host unit. For purposes of this rule, “diversity” shall be based on the composition of the Executive Board, Committee, or similar of a chartered unit and shall include consideration of different gender identities, racial identity, religious background, sexual orientation, distribution of places of residence, and other relevant information.
