The Young Democrats of America are heading to New Orleans for our Spring 2026 Meeting, April 9–11, as we gear up for a pivotal election year. Taking place alongside the DNC Meeting, this hybrid gathering will bring young leaders from across the country together for organizing, training, and community-building during a critical moment for our party. With virtual sessions on April 3–4 and in-person programming in NOLA, this meeting is built to be accessible, impactful, and energizing! We can’t wait to bring young Democrats together to help shape what’s next for our party.

Schedule
Please note that caucus and committee meetings will take place virtually from April 3-4. In-person activity will include the Welcome Reception, General Session, and National Committee Meeting.
We advise YDA Spring Meeting participants to plan for activities to begin on Thursday, April 9th, at 5:00 PM and conclude on Saturday, April 11th, no earlier than noon.

Charter and Standing Rules Amendments
The Charter and Standing Rules must have been submitted to YDA Secretary Maria Nieto Orta at [email protected] by 11:59 PM EDT on Tuesday, March 10th. You can find the proposed governing document amendments here.

Per the YDA Charter, an amendment to the Charter shall contain a title, the names of all members who sponsor the amendment, a brief description of the amendment and why the amendment is being submitted, and each section of the Charter showing how it is being amended.
Proxies
Proxies are due two hours before the start of the National Committee Meeting. You should submit your proxy by 12:00 PM EDT to ensure your proxy is received and any corrections can be made.
