Blake Robinson
Southern Vice President
Brief info
Blake Robinson is a proud son of South Georgia, hailing from Valdosta by way of rural Broadway, North Carolina. His organizing journey began in 2022 as a campus organizer at Georgia Southern University, where he led student voter registration drives and championed civic engagement across campus. In 2023, Blake was elected Student Body President at Georgia Southern. In that role, he worked to strengthen ties between the university and the surrounding community and made civic engagement a core priority of student leadership. During this time, he also became active with the Young Democrats of Georgia through the Black Caucus.
In 2024, Blake was elected Chair of the Young Democrats of Georgia’s Rural Caucus, leading efforts to organize and empower young Democrats in rural communities across the state. That same year, he earned a B.A. in Political Science, a B.S. in Criminal Justice, and a Paralegal Certificate from Georgia Southern. After graduation, Blake relocated to Atlanta, where he now serves as Chief of Staff to State Senator RaShaun Kemp (D-38), the first openly gay Black man elected to the Georgia State Senate.
An organizer by heart and by trade, Blake also works with Men4Choice, mobilizing young men in the fight for reproductive freedom. He is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration at Georgia State University.
